After a busy Christmas and a well earned break, the AUJ are getting ready for the 2020 season. We are busy uke-ing up a buch of new songs which we can’t wait for you to hear.
Last year we brought you AUJ styled hits from Primal Scream, Blues Brothers, Blink 182, Sam Fender, Tones & I and a ton more.
If you enjoyed all that then this year you will not want to miss some new numbers from Sister Sledge, Roxette, Portugal the Man, My Chemical Romance and a load of others.
Next time you can see us on the big stage will be the Alresford Watercress Festival this May so come along and enjoy our new songs. We also have 2 huge events booked this year – we are so excited we can hardly wait to tell you so watch this space…
Finally, we are almost fully booked for 2020 but there are a few slots left. As you know we are all doing this to raise money for our local schools and other charities. We put our personal time into performing for all you lovely people that book us so if you were thinking of booking a professional act for your wedding/birthday/village festival then why not try the AUJ style instead.
2019 Donation season has started
Its that time of year where we donate the funds we have raised throughout the year.
2019 has been a great year for us. All you people who have booked us this year (there were a lot of you in 2019) have helped us to raise money for our local community schools.
We have raised enough money to support all our major schools this year and start by donating £200 to Alresford's 345 Preschool so they can fund the children's xmas party and include a suprise entertainer for the children.
Just a reminder; we all do this for free and for the main purpose of supporting our community schools (yes, yes, we have a blast doing it too). We hope to see many supporters again next year so please go ahead to our booking form and plan your next band knowing that your payment will help us fund our charitable donations.

Fireworks party at the King Alfred Winchester
We were delighted to play the post-fireworks party at the King Alfred pub in Winchester last night. We all agree that this crowd were one of the best we have ever had (if judged by the volume of the resonse to "What's cooler than being cool" (which of course is Ice Cold) ).
Although sceptical how it would go down, it seems like our debut of Dance Monkey was a hit. Thanks for that vote of confidence and good luck to those who have booked us next 🙂
Some videos to come next... Watch this space
As the Summer draws to a close, the AUJ look back on what has been a year for the books. We've been busy with birthday parties, weddings (we went all the way to Cornwall for one of them), Boomtown (Yes - we made the bill !), Our local Watercress Festival, the Hampshire Fizz Festival and the main show ring at the Alresford show.
We've loved every minute of it and raised enough money to give our local schools their annual donations. More on that later in the year so we do not spoil the surprise...
Thanks to everyone who have supported us and donated. We hope to see you soon at one of our next events.
